BACKSTORY.

Homeland: Medina
Occupation: Mystic Soldier

Approximately 400 years before the Millenial Fair that Crono takes part in, a war was being fought between the Mystics and the humans. Asi was a Mystic, ironically taking his powers from the light, as opposed to many others -- especially their grand leader, Magus -- who took their powers from the darkness. However, Asi took to learning some about the darkness from one of the Generals under Magus, Flea. None of the darkness tricks he could learn or even use, as it wasn't part of his element, but learning was good regardless.

However, unknown to Asi and many of the Mystics (Magus aside), Lavos was still deep beneath the earth, and still causing rifts and tears in space and time. A portal opened during a battle Asi was involved in, and yanked him away into the Bend of Time, linked into the land of El Nido. Finding more portals, Asi leapt before he looked, eager to get back to the war and defeat the humans. A portal lead into a place of utter darkness with no light; Asi's powers were part of the light, particularly moonlight, and he was essentially doomed. Eventually, he caved in to the Darkness, and Asi was no more.

The Nobody of Asi was soon found by the Organization, the very first after the main six to have the will and have taken a human form. Easily, he found himself into their ranks, and he was named Saix. For awhile, he was almost considered... special.
